Welcome Home Faith!!

Faith and her dad finally made it home yesterday....YAY!! Faith did really well with the car ride home. We weren't quit sure of how she was going to do with all the bumps and stopping and going. We are so happy to have them home.. Faith is doing pretty good. We have to constantly keep pain meds in her system or else she is NOT happy!!! I know that I wouldn't be happy if I had that big cast on me..

Bryceton was so happy to have Faith home. He sat beside her in her bed when we got her home. He colored her pictures and sang some songs to her. Faith really enjoyed that!!

My dad and I went to see Faith tonight!! She is doing pretty good. They are going to cut her epidural meds at 8 a.m. and if she can tolerate is then they will cut it off totally at noon. so pray that she can tolerate the reg pain meds so we can get her out of there and bring her home.

I brushed her hair tonight and put these little braids in for her. Nancy and Heather Miller stopped by to see her. Poor Pa is worn out!!

We went to see Faith yesterday .. She seems to be doing well. Still in a lot of PAIN but that is to be totally expected. They are keeping her well medicated to try keeping her comfortable.

Faith!!

Here we are on the morning of your surgery. We had to leave at 4:30 a.m. uugghh!! She was their 1st surgery of the day. Everything went very well with her surgery. He took out the metal plate that was in there. He said that her hip was starting to come out. He said what was happening was the muscle in her groin area was extremely tight and it was causing the hip to come in and out.. so he cut it and he said that just doing that really helped and he also cut one of the muscles by her knee cause that was really tight. He said that we should be able to stretch her leg out almost straight where as before you couldn't even stretch it out. So that will be awesome.. So all in all she did very well... I will keep giving you updates and keep posting pics.. I am going to go see her today. So hopefully I can post them later on tonight..

Here we are in the Recovery Room. She had an awesome nurse her name was Amy. She remembered Faith from all the other times that Faith has had surgery.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I may not be blogging for a few days or longer it just depends. Faith is going in for surgery tomorrow on her left hip again for the 3rd time.. So I will be busy running back and forth to cleveland everyday!! So I will try to get on and give updates and maybe post some pics of her cast.. O YAY!! But in the meantime just remember us all in your prayers. Thanks much you all are a great group of ladies... what would I do without by blogger friends??????

Happy Birthday Bryceton!!

Friday we had a birthday party for Bryceton. Who is now 6!!! 8-( We had about 10 kids here. There were a couple of kids that called and cancelled because they had gotten sick, we had a couple that couldn't come because they had gotten on the yellow at school. lol !! and then we had a couple that got to come but had to leave early.. They all had so much fun!! We told the boys if they wanted to that they could spend the night with Bryce we had 3 boys stay over.. All's I can say is I am so glad I do not have 4 boys..LOL!! WOW!!! They were all so crazy hyper!! But O'well they all had fun and that was what was important!!

IT WAS NICE TO HAVE ALL THESE BOYS COME ALL OF THEM BUT 2 WENT TO PRESCHOOL WITH BRYCE. THEY WENT TO PRESCHOOL TOGETHER FOR 2 YRS. AND THEN THIS YEAR THEY ALL WENT THERE SEPARATE WAYS. SO IT WAS NICE AND FUN TO BRING THEM ALL BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.!!!

We are so blessed and thankful to have such wonderful neighbours. They have really helped us out a lot with the kids.. It is nice to be able to call over and say hey Kristy do you have any toilet paper..ha ha!! and yes this has happened.. lol! She will call me for a food item and I call her for toiletries... love ya Kristy!!
Anyways our kids are all close in age which is really nice.. Brady and Emmie are about 12 hrs apart and Mia is 3 I think? Bryceton is 6, Faith is 6 and Lily is 5.. So it is so nice they have friends so close to us and close in age that can grow up with.. Faith is not in these pics because she was sleeping but they all absolutely love Faith.
Thanks for everything Chris and Kristy you guys are the BOMBS!!!!!!!

Will Work 4 Food!!

This is Eric and Shelly!! In therapy this week they had Brady sitting on this big ball.. They were trying to get him to turn his head to the right and he wouldn't do it ( he had other things to look at) so Shelly took his bottle and was tapping his cheek with it.. and of course that was food and his ba ba so he def turned for that...lol!! He sat up on this ball for 15 min by himself.. Obviously Eric had his hands around his waist for balance but Brady pretty much did everything else on his own... YAY!!! For Brady!!

Brady wanted to taste his glasses..lol He was playing on the floor in the living room and when I walked back in from the kitchen this is what I saw. lol!! I am so afraid he is going to chew his nose pieces off and swallow them!!!! 8-)He is happy that he can finally see..

Bryceton's Turn!!

It was Bryceton and Mike's turn to go to the dentist.. Bryceton did so good. The dentist is very entertaining.. I am soooo glad we found a dentist that Bryce likes he has had some pretty bad experiences with dentists. Might I say Traumatizing!!!! It was so bad I refused to take him back to that dentist. So when I told him he had a dentist appt he was very iffy about it but he did very well..

Mike was EXTREMELY NERVOUS about going to the dentist. Might I say Panic Attack Nervous.. LOL!! Poor Guy!! He has not been to the dentist since he was Bryce's age. Surprisingly enough he doesn't have any cavities!! Lucky him.!!

When we got there Bryce told him that he would go first so that way he could see that the dentist wasn't going to hurt him...lol.... Somethings wrong with this picture my 6yrs old is trying to comfort his 38yr old dad.. hhhmmm shouldn't this have been the other way around.. lol..
