CLEVELAND AIR SHOW!!

This weekend we went to the Cleveland National Airshow!! We had so much fun.. It was all that we expected and so much more it was defenitly worth the money that we paid to get in. Bryceton loved it. He was so excited to go see all those huge jets and to get to walk through them. We didn't take Faith with us though ;-( She stayed with a sitter we thought that it would just be to HOT for her. And it was hot but we had a really nice breeze so that helped with the whole heat thing!! We weren't sure how Brady was going to do but we took him with us anyways and as you can see from the pics it was a little loud for him so we had to buy him muffs to block out almost all the noise.There was so much stuff to do there. We didn't even get to walk down one of the sides of the runway that they had all set up.. But that's ok because they had those jumping things that the kids could get in.. and we know if we would have dare gone down that way we would have to listen to Bryce cry cause he wanted to go in and jump and I was not going to pay $40 to in and jump in a toy!!! Anyways we had a wonderful fun filled day!! I hope you enjoy the pics that I have posted. I put some info about some of the jets that I have posted. Here is some info on the truck!!

It is called the Nexplore Shockwave Jet Truck
It has 3 engines it has 36,000 horse power the engines produce enough power to accelerate 3g's vertically which is as much as the space shuttle. It uses 120 gallons of fuel for each run. (which is just going from one end of the runway to the other. It can go from zero to 300 mph in 11 seconds. Pretty Amazing!!

Here's some info about this Monster!!

It's called a C-5 Galaxy,

Gargantuan might be the best word to describe this jet.

It is responsible for carrying mountains of equipment for the Us Military since 1970.

It is America's largest aircraft it stands 65 ft it is 247 feet long it has a wingspan of 223 ft. Eah of the 4 engines are 27 ft long and have an air intake diameter of more than 8.5 ft. It has 12 internal wing tanks that allow it to carry 51,150 gallons of fuel enough to fill 6.5 reg sized railroad tank cars. It can transport 270,00 pounds of cargo it has a top speed of 518 mph. and can fly 6,320 nautical miles without aerial refueling. The cargo compartment is 19 ft wide and half the lenghth of a football field (which is 50 yrds) It opens from both ends and it carries semitrailers and aircraft. This thing was so amazingingly HUGE!!!

Sean Tucker began flying air shows in the mid-1970's. As an air show pilot, he's flown more than 1,000 performances at 425 showns in front of more than 80 million fans. This summer he added to decades of awards with his induction into the National Aviation Hall of Fame.

These fighter F/A 18's where the highlight of the show!!! These are the U.S. navy Blue Angels..

They can go from speeds of 120 -700 miles an hour. In order for the pilots to be able to fly these they have to go through special training. Back in 1946 the pilots had to wear G-suits they were designed with air pockets to inflate and deflate to keep the pilot's blood from pooling in the legs when executing sharp manuevers. However the Blue Angels now do not wear them because they know all their manuvers prior to take off so they can combat the heavy gravitational forces with muscle contractions. Scary!!! I would not want to fly one of these let alone just ride in one. Could you imagine if you forgot one of the manuvers OH man that would be all bad!!

Kindergarten!!!

Yesterday was Bryceton's first day of school for his kindergarten testing. He loved it. He did really well on his testing also. I was so nervous for him. I don't know why because he flew right threw the tests like they were nothing. I am just a worry wart!! LOL!! His next day will be on Friday and he is so excited he can't hardly wait. O yeah while he was testing there was a bat that flew in and started flying around he was flying real low and he kept swooping way down like he was trying to hit something or someone. I was so afraid to mave and Bryceton was freaking out finally some one got the bright idea and said maybe we should go out of this room. lol !! So we did we all went out into the hallway and then after they got that stupid bat out we went back in. When we walked in Bryce said maybe we shouildn't open up that window again cause I would sure hate to have another bat fly in here. LOL!! Anyways that was the most exciting part about sitting in that classroom for a little over 2 hrs.

Bryceton's Keepsake

The other day Bryceton and I were going through some things of his that I have been holding onto since he was a baby and we came across this hat that he just had to put on Braydon...Bryceton thought doing that to Braydon was so funny he couldn't stop laughing ...He wanted me to take some pics of him wearing it so I did..and I thought I would share them with you guys!!

1st Day of Kindergarten!!

Today was Faith's first day of Kindergarten. How sad!! Mike and I held it together until we pulled out of the parking lot then we both kinda broke down...LOL!! As you can see from the picture she was excited about her first day of school.. She loves to be around other kids so I figured that she would do good. It's always that first day of sending her somewhere new where no one knows her or anything about her. It is a whole different world having to send a special needs kid to school than it is to send a typical kid. No one would understand that unless they've had to do it. Anyways this morning the nurse from the school called me to tell me that she was doing just fine and she liking school so far... Then when I went to pick her up her teacher Mrs. Christie said she did really good today and that she would probably be really tired tonight because they are not allowed to take naps and let me tell ya when we got her home she wasn't even in her chair for 10 min and she was out cold..LOL!! Poor little thing... Her teacher said that she was the only one that didn't cry today in her class... Anyways it was a Fun day for Faith Autumn!!
