**Smiles Upon Smiles**: January 2009

This past weekend we went to the Kalahari in Sandusky Ohio it was our 1st time to go and it will def not be our last. We had such a blast!! There was so much stuff to do. We left on Friday and came home on Sunday.. we didn't want to come home but we had to..lol If anyone gets a chance to get away and you like to play in the water I would def recommend you go there..

These ladies were so nice.. while Bryce and I were playing in the tunnels these ladies were admiring how pretty Faith was.. The smaller lady had a brother with cerebral palsy so she was very into faith because of her being special needs.. Anyways we decided to eat at this restaurant and this lady and her Friend just so happen to be there.. And they walked over to us and said your dinner is on us tonight so enjoy!! WOW!! what a blessing.. Mike and I figured it up our meal for the 3 of would have cost us right around $70.. We were amazed at this lady and her heart for special needs people.. It was so awesome because we went there again the next morning for breakfast and she was there again and there was this special needs guy there and she walked over to him and said your breakfast is on me so enjoy!! God will so bless this lady for reaching out to people.. She was laughing and talking like they were just as normal as all get out.. It was awesome to see her getting a blessing while she was blessing others.

This was the Tree Top Playhouse... Bryce loved it .. he didn't play in here much he was so busy playing in the water.. I think he's part fish..lol

This was a gun you could shoot these balls out of it.. this tree house has 3 levels.. It was pretty neat.

This next couple stopped us and was talking to Faith and they asked us what her diagnosis was so we told her and they proceeded to tell us that they had triplets 2 girls and 1 boy and the girls both have a mitochondrial disorders.. There's is a complex4 which is worse from what we understand from the one that complex 1 & 2 that Faith has.. anyways they are 7 and there birthdays are DEC 10Th crazy Faith's b-day is DEC 4Th and she is 7.. it is not normal that you meet people that have a child with a mito disorder because it's such a rare disorder.. Anyways we are going to get together and have a play date with the girls.. we are looking forward to getting to meet their little girls....

This is a baby joey that you could get your pics taken with.. we were going to let Bryceton to that but for a 5x7 it was $35.. YIKES!!

We ate at this restaurant and I would not recommend it at all. mike and I ordered a steak and when they brought the out to us they were so burnt tasting that we had to send them back.. Anyways we only had to pay $13 for this meal and that was with the tip included.. The steak made me soooo sick.. Bryceton enjoyed his hot dog.. at least his meal was good..
