Little suprise!!

Last week we went to wal mart and Bryceton seen this bike that he absolutely loved. He asked if he could sit on it and ride it around for a couple of minutes to see how well it fit him. lol !! Then when we told him it was time to go and said can we please buy this bike please!! We kept telling him NO that we didn't have enough money to but it for him. Even though Mike ans I knew that we were going to buy it for him. But we wanted to suprise him. So after convincing him that we were broke with no money we finally left and took him to VBS. (Which He Loved) Then we went back to wal mart to get his bike. We couldn't hardly wait to see the look on his face when he seen his new bike!! Man he was so excited and suprised. He said hey how did that bike get here??? LOL !!

"Sweat Dreams"

Yesterday I laid Brady on the couch for a little while. I was folding clothes in the dining room and I could't figure out why he was being so quiet so I walked in to check on him and this is the cute little face that I saw. He was dreaming I think cause he would smile and then make a little sound like he was going to laugh. LOL !! I couldn't resist the urge to capture such a cute little face 8-)

"When I was a young minister, a funeral director asked me to hold a grave side service for a homeless man with no family or friends. The funeral was to be at a cemetery way out in the country. This was a new cemetery and this man was the first to be laid to rest there. I was not familiar with the area and became lost. Being a typical man, I did not ask for directions. I finally found the cemetery about an hour late. The back hoe was there and the crew was eating their lunch. The hearse was nowhere to be seen.

I apologized to the workers for being late. As I looked into the open grave, I saw the vault lid already in place. I told the workers I would not keep them long, but that this was the proper thing to do. The workers, still eating their lunch, gathered around the opening. I was young and enthusiastic and poured out my heart and soul as I preached. The workers joined in with, "Praise the Lord," "Amen," and "Glory!" I got so into the service that I preached and preached and preached, from Genesis to The Revelation.

When the service was over, I said a prayer and walked to my car. As I opened the door, I heard one of the workers say, "I never saw anything like that before and I've been putting in septic systems for twenty years."

The Mouse Stroy With A Moral

A mouse looked through the crackin the wall to see the farmer andhis wife open a package. What food might this contain ?'The mouse wondered - - -he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap. Retreating to the farmyard,

the mouse proclaimed the warning :

There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!' The chicken clucked and scratched,

raised her head and said,

'Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it.'

The mouse turned to the pig and told him,

'There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!' The pig sympathized, but said, I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers.'

The mouse turned to the cow and said

'There is a mousetrap in the house!


There is a mousetrap in the house!' The cow said, 'Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose.'


So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap . . . alone. That very night a sound was heard throughout


the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching


its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife.


The farmer rushed her to the hospital ,


and she returned home with a fever.


Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.


But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock.



To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.


The farmer's wife did not get well;


she died.


So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered toprovide enough meat for all of them.


The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.


So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you,


remember ----



when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.


We are all involved in this journey called life.


We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

FREEBIES!!!

One of my friends called me sat and asked me if I wanted a double seated stroller. She had no idea that I had been looking for one actually. I wanted a double seated jogging stroller for Brady and Faith so when I am out it will be so much easier for me plus now I can take walks during the day and not have to worry about breaking my back when I haul 2 ton Tony (brady lol) in his snugglie plus push faith in her stroller. That is hard work let me tell ya. Anyways she told me that the girl had, had a double seated jogging stroller that she wanted to get for me but the girl she was getting it from had already gave it to someone else but that she had this one that she could have for free. So she brought it to me on sat and I was so excited about having a double I seated stroller that I had that thing torn apart and in the washer with some color safe bleach prob within 15 min after she left...lol!! So now I have to get used to pushing a double wide around. LOL !! I love freebies!! But then again who doesn't!!!!

A Day Out!!!

On sat we took Bryceton to freedlander park to go fishing. It was pretty out the weather was perfect. Unfortunately he didn't catch any fish but he had fun. A friend told me that we could use canned corn for bait instead of worm, Yeah right that was a total flop!! After we left there we went to burger king and got lunch and took it to Christmas Run Park and ate it. Then we let Bryce play in the little creek where he got eaten up by mosquitoes anyways we were getting ready to go into the park to play when we had a sudden down poor of rain man we were drenched. But O well we had a good time and lots of laughs. If you put these flowers in food coloring they will change colors!!

A Child's View of Thunderstorms
A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child. Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school. As she did she saw her little girl walking along. At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile. Another and another flash of lighting followed quickly and with each the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile. When the mother's car drew up beside the child she lowered the window and called to her 'What are you doing?' The child answered 'I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture.'

I'M LEARNING!!

LAST TUESDAY WE TOOK BRADY TO THERAPY AND HE COULD'NT EVEN LIFT HIS HEAD OFF THE FLOOR HARDLY. HE COULD LIFT IT JUST ENOUGH TO TURN HIS HEAD FROM SIDE TO SIDE. I TOOK HIM BACK TO THERAPY YESTERDAY AND HIS THERAPIST SAID HE'S LIKE A WHOLE NEW KID. HE SAID THAT HE IS SO PROUD OF HIM AND IS HAPPY WITH HIS PROGRESS.. THANK YOU LORD!!

THIS IS ERIC WHEN HE FIRST STARTED WORKING WITH BRADY ON HIS BELLY! THIS IS PRETTY MUCH HOW HIGH BRADY COULD LIFT HIS HEAD LAST WEEK!!
