Cell phone vs. Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

Wildflowers!

Yesterday we were out driving in the country and for some reason these wildflowers caught my eye. So I stopped and Mike jump out of the van and cut them down for me.. so I brought them home and put them in a HUGE pickle jar and tied some raffia around it and decided to use them as a fall decoration.. Do you LIKE?????

Pine Cone People!

W Yesterday Bryceton and I decided to make some fall crafts out of the Family Fun magazine. We had so much fun doing this together. We had to go out and find some pine cones, leaves. bark, acorns, chestnuts, and some pine needles. So we went out to my mom's house to collect some of these items and then we also went to the college to do some looking for our items. So anyways Bryceton had this BIG idea that we should make one for all his teachers including Mrs. Fergueson And Mr. Kasandie. lol!! I know I totally butchered the sp of their names. lol !

The park

Today before Bryceton went to school we decided to go to the park and have lunch! It was a perfect weather to spend the day outside. Bryceton decided to take Braydon down the slide and he loved it.

Here are some more pics of my Grandma's car without the Big tree on top of it. I stopped down at her house today to make sure her and Aunt Marlene didn't need anything. While was there she was telling me about all these people that keep coming to their house to take pictures of her car. She said today there was this man out there taking all kinds of pics of the car, the tree stump, and all kinds of other damage he even took the time to count all the rings on the tree to see how old the tree was and he came up with 110 of them so that meant that the tree was 110 yrs old. She said he took so many pics that she thought he was the insurance guy for her car. So she walked out and asked him and he told her that he was just a neighbour guy taking pictures. Then she also told me that Christal and her husband Jason (one of my relatives not sure how though she's like a 3rd cousin maybe?) anyways they were there yesterday. And Jason was messing around with the car and he was still able to start her car and the windsheild wipers and the lights and everything still worked on the car. Isn't that funny you would'nt think that anything would work on the car as smashed as it is.. LOL!!

High Winds!

On Sunday when we had that major wind storm this huge tree fell right on my Grandma's car and completely wiped it out.. My Aunt Marlene said that she had just pulled in her driveway and went into the house and sat down on the couch and that tree fell. She was so being watched over by the BIG man ABOVE!! If the tree would have fallen over just a little bit more it would have went through their roof and landed right in the living room which is where her and grandma were both sitting. They could have both been killed. CRAZY!! Thank you God for your Protecting hand upon us all and our families!!

Then I went out driving around after I dropped Bryce of at school and this huge tree at the college of wooster was totally uprooted out of the ground. It's so crazy how wind can do so much damage. Thank God we are all safe and sound though.

Kids Fishing!

Barak Obama was out jogging one morning along theparkway when he tripped, fell over the bridge railing and landed in the creek below. Before the Secret Service guys could get to him, 3 kids who were fishing pulled him out of the water. He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they wanted.
The first kid said, 'I want to go to Disneyland 'Barak said, 'No problem, I'll take you there on my special Senator's airplane.
'The second kid said, 'I want a new pair of Nike Air Jordan 's shoes.'Barak said, 'I'll get them for you and even have Michael Jordan sign them!'
The third kid said, ' I want a motorized wheelchair with a built in TV and stereo headset! 'Barak was a little perplexed by this and said, 'But you don't look like you're handicapped.'The kid said, 'I will be after my dad finds out I saved you from drowning

MEN!!

Today the neighbour guys behind us were outside with a fishing pole trying to get a branch down so that they could watch their football game. The branch was hanging over top of our roof so we offered to let them go up on the roof to cut that branch down. It was so windy that the branch kept interfering with their satellite..lol! So they were so happy once they got that branch off but then after all that work they ended up having to move their satellite dish anyways...LOL!! It's to funny to watch men go to such lenghths to watch a football game..

As you can see they sent the skinny guy up to tie the rope around the branch... One huge GUST of wind and down he will come..LOL!

Kiersten turns 1 today!

Today is my niece's birthday she turned 1 !! Wow how time has flew by.. Anyways they had a birthday party for her yesterday!! She had about 25 people come. krissy had some games for the kids to play one of them was hook the ring around the dolphin's nose, then she had a basketball game and then she had a pinata!! Which they all loved that!! It ended up being a pretty nice little party for her!!

Pinata Fun!!

Instead of hitting the pinata with a stick Krissy attached ribbons so they could pull those instead of hitting it and only one of the strings was the one to the trap door that would let all the candy out.. and of course kiersten pulled that one.
